Dumpster Rental for Farm Waste Disposal in Central Florida

Running a farm in Central Florida means dealing with all kinds of waste beyond just manure, broken fencing, old feed bags, crop debris, worn-out tarps, plastic sheeting, and retired equipment. A roll-off dumpster from Dumpster Strong handles it all in one efficient container, eliminating multiple trips to the dump and keeping your farm operation running smoothly.

    Common Farm Waste Materials

Farm waste includes a wide range of materials: broken wooden fencing and posts, old barbed wire (bundled safely), plastic feed bags and grain sacks, crop residue and pruning debris, greenhouse plastic and shade cloth, old irrigation tubing and PVC pipe, worn-out tarps and covers, mixed agricultural debris. Most of these materials are accepted in standard roll-off dumpsters. The exception is chemicals, pesticides, and treated wood, those require special disposal.

Choosing the Right Dumpster for Farm Cleanup

A 20-yard dumpster works for seasonal cleanups and small farm maintenance. A 30-yard is ideal for major barn cleanouts, fence line clearing, or property-wide debris removal. For large agricultural operations doing annual cleanups, our 40-yard container maximizes hauling efficiency. All sizes include delivery to rural properties, our trucks handle dirt roads, unpaved driveways, and farm gates across Orange, Osceola, Lake, and Seminole counties.

Pesticide Container Disposal: The Florida Triple-Rinse Rule

Empty pesticide containers are NOT regulated waste in Florida if you follow the EPA-approved triple-rinse protocol: drain into the spray tank for 30 seconds, refill the container 25% with water, agitate, drain again - repeat three times. After triple-rinsing, containers are considered non-hazardous and can be placed in your dumpster. The FDACS Operation Cleansweep program also accepts un-rinsed agricultural chemicals at no cost during scheduled collection events - check fdacs.gov for Central Florida dates.

Treated Wood, CCA Posts, and Pressure-Treated Fencing

Pressure-treated wood (especially older CCA-treated lumber installed before 2004) is technically allowed in Class I municipal landfills in Florida but is regulated under FDEP rule 62-701. Newer copper-azole and ACQ-treated lumber is treated the same way - it goes to landfill, not C&D recycling, and must never be burned on the farm. Tell us if your load is mostly treated wood so we can flag the haul ticket for the proper landfill cell.

    Prohibited Items for Farm Dumpsters

While most farm waste is accepted, some items require special disposal: pesticides and herbicide containers, motor oil and hydraulic fluid, paint and chemical solvents, tires (dispose separately at county tire recycling), and batteries. If you're unsure whether an item is accepted, call us at (407) 801-0253 before loading. Book your dumpster online, see real-time pricing by ZIP, and save $25 with code STRONG25.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can I put old fencing in a dumpster?โ–พ
Yes, wooden fence posts, metal fencing, and bundled wire fencing are all accepted. Bundle barbed wire securely to prevent injury during handling.
Do you deliver to farms outside city limits?โ–พ
Yes, we serve rural areas throughout Central Florida within our 30-mile service radius from Orlando.
Can I put crop debris in a dumpster?โ–พ
Yes, crop residue, pruning debris, and organic farm waste are accepted in our dumpsters.
Are empty pesticide containers OK in a dumpster?โ–พ
Only after a documented triple-rinse following EPA guidelines. Un-rinsed containers must go to an FDACS Operation Cleansweep event or a licensed hazardous waste facility.
    What about old farm tires?โ–พ
Florida law caps dumpster tire disposal at 4 whole tires per load and bans them at most Class I landfills. For larger volumes, use Orange County's tire amnesty days or a licensed tire recycler.
Can I include used motor oil from tractors?โ–พ
No. Used oil is universal waste under 40 CFR 279. Take it to any Orange, Lake, or Osceola County household hazardous waste drop-off - most accept up to 5 gallons from agricultural users at no charge.
